Lake Batur is the largest of the lakes in the interior of the island. it is a caldera lake, located inside Mount Batur, one of Bali's active volcanos. The mountain and the lake are located in the regency of Bangli in the Kintamani district.

One of the major tourist destinations in the east of Bali is Candidasa. Hotels and villas in Candidasa often provide direct access to the beach, creating the perfect place to relax and watching the sunset.

Tenganan Village is one of Bali's original traditional villages. Located in the Karangasem mountain area, this unique village has been protected from the outside word for centuries by its walls.

While we can't really classify the Environmental Bamboo Foundation (EBF) as a "tourist destination", we figure that if you are genuinely interested in ecology and preservation, you need to know about this organization.

The still active cone of Mount Batur is a relatively young and small volcano located in a middle of the huge crater of its grander ancestor: diameter around 14km.
