Ryoshi

If you are thinking that here on an island in the middle of some of the richest fishing grounds in the world you should be able to get great sushi, well, you are right. While there are a number of Japanese restaurants on the island, and many offer good food, Ryoshi is the one that made our favorites list for two simple reasons: First, the fish is always fresh, and second, it won't cost you a fortune to eat here.

We're regulars here and we've never gone gone wrong. It's consiustently good.

Ryoshi's decor is basic and the service competent. They serve alcoholic beverages, including a modest assortment of Japanese beers and sake. As an added bonus, they deliver!

Ryoshi currently has 3 restaurants on the island, with locations in Seminyak, Ubud and Tirtigangga. Note that during high season (July / Aug / Christmas) it can be hard to get a table at peak dinner hours.
