Bingin Beach

The beach is located on Bukit Peninsula, Bingin is a reef break with only one take off point. Like other beaches in the area, Bingin has a good wave quality with the reef bottom of coral and sharp rock will be a dangerous place for beginner surfer. The best time to surf is during the high tide or at mid-low tide.

The beach is also safe to swim but stick to the left side of the beach at high-tide (anywhere on the beach at low tide).

To get to Bingin head towards Uluwatu. There are not many turn offs in the area, but when you get to the village of Pecatu, take the turn off to the right and drive till you find the Bingin Beach sign. The way down to the beach is by steep steps, so be careful.

For the surfer, there is a surfcamp located in this area, accommodation is in typical beach side bungalows of bamboo and "alang-alang" thatched roof. The camp has restaurant service from dawn till night, the camp located just next to the beach.
