Terazo Restaurant

This tasty restaurant is located right in the heart of Ubud proper, near the palace. The menu is a blend of Continental and modern Asian and the choices are varied and well-executed.

We've found both the food and the service here to be consistently good. While this restaurant may not enjoy the same level of hype as some of the other posh eateries in Ubud, don't let that fool you; it is excellent and deserves more attention from the media. It may not be as stylish as some other places, but the dinig experience is on par with the best.

Try the Gazpacho, and the Asia noodle dishes. The lunch menu also presents you with low cost options for 2 or 3 courses. All-in-all, not only is the food excellent and the location convenient, the price is very reasonable, too.


terrible experience at terazo

- mozzarella for their pizza is actually a cheese from New Zealand. I asked the waiter to show me what kind of mozzarella they were using. They brought a cheese of yellow colour that looked more like a gruyere than mozzarella. Totally different in taste and probably in price too. - the waitress had set up 2 spoons and no knives. How am I supposed to eat my salad and my pizza?! - my daughter could not even eat her lunch; it was so bad - the tomato sauce used for their pizza and their tortellini came straight from a can and tasted like it - ihad to say that I would not pay to see finally the manager. He said that he did not know what had happened; there were 2 tables, only?! He said that he did not know that it wasn't mozzarella. He admitted that he had been to Italy and knows what mozzarella looks like... He said that he was going to check?? - the salad was actually the best part of our lunch
