Banjar Hot Spring

This natural hot spring is located in the north of Bali. The pools are distinctive with eight carved stone dragons pouring water into the first pool (the hottest pool), five more for the second pool (cooler then the first pool) and one final 3 meter-high dragon serving the third pool. Traditional belief holds that this hot spring can cure illness.

When visiting, try this hot spring in the morning or at the night time instead of midday time. Use the changing rooms and locker under the restaurant. You must wear a swimsuit and soaps are not permitted in the pool. There is an adjacent outdoor shower provided.

Banjar Hot Spring is about 8 kilometers to the west of Singaraja (capital of Buleleng - North Bali) on the hill above Lovina beach. It is better to use your own transportation to reach the site if you want the freedom to come and go as you please (public transport is very sporadic).
